Hani Zadeh, a member of the Zamalek Club, revealed that Sayed Abdel Hafeez, the former star of Al-Ahly, was entering negotiations to join the white team earlier.
Hani Zadeh said in statements to Al-Hadath Al-Youm channel: “Earlier, I negotiated Sayed Abdel Hafeez to join Zamalek Club.”
“At the time, Abdel Hafeez wanted to play for Zamalek, but he was suffering from a severe knee injury.”
He continued, “It was only the injury that prevented Sayed Abdel Hafeez from playing for Zamalek, and completing the contract.”
He concluded, “In the era of professionalism, everything became permissible. For example, Gamal Abdel Hamid from Al-Ahly joined Zamalek.”
Sayed Abdel-Hafeez spent his entire career inside Al-Ahly’s Walls, starting in 1989 with the youth, until his retirement in 2006. ”
