The first club of Augusta of Angola is considering restoring its player Geraldo da Cuca from Al-Ahly in the coming period.
Giraldo joined Al-Ahly Club during the January transfer window before last, from August 1 (Primero de Augusto), but he did not achieve the desired success.
The Journal de Angola newspaper reported that the club was awaiting clarity on the ball being halted due to the spread of Corona virus before submitting an offer to Al-Ahly to include the player.
In its endeavors, the Angolan club is counting on the departure of Geraldo from the accounts of Al-Ahly coach Rene Vyler.
Piatzo, the first August midfielder and friend of Geraldo, may play a role in persuading the 28-year-old to move to the team.
A source close to the player explained to FilGoal.com last month: “Geraldo has not received any oral or official framework from Al-Ahly about his departure or not, in light of the contests being halted for fear of an outbreak of Corona virus.”
He continued, “His departure or not after the return of the activity depends on 3 things.”
He explained, “The first is the position of Swiss coach Rennie Fyler, the team’s coach, and the second is the position of the club management.”
He concluded, “As for the third issue, it is the offers that he can receive, as he remains in his contract with Al-Ahly for two and a half seasons.”
Giraldo was just around the corner from the departure from Al-Ahly last January, as a prelude to the registration of Senegalese Alliot Badji in his place as a foreign player, but the choice of Fyler was the departure of Moroccan Walid Azzaro in the end.
The Angolan international crowned Al-Ahly with the Egyptian League title, the Egyptian Super Cup, scored three goals, and made 6 others.
