Store the CO2 from the Güsel underground: Futuristic technology is also to be used in Lucerne

The canton of Lucerne wants to be climate neutral by 2050. To achieve this, the Renergia waste incineration plant in Perlen is planning to reduce the CO2-Capturing emissions and depositing them in decommissioned oil or gas fields abroad.

It is an ambitious goal that Switzerland and the Canton of Lucerne are pursuing. They want to have zero net emissions by 2050, i.e. to be climate neutral. He recently showed how the canton wants to achieve this in his climate report.
