FIFA World Cup 2022 Lionel Messi and Julian Alavarez award Argentina last place in World Cup in Qatar | FIFA World Cup 2022: Messi and his team unlock Croatia defence; Argentina in the World Cup final in Qatar

Argentina enters the final round of the FIFA World Cup. Messi and his team qualified for the final by beating Croatia 3-0 in today’s first semi-final. Julian Alvarez scored the remaining two goals for Argentina, who took the lead from Lionel Messi’s penalty. This is the fifth time in FIFA World Cup history that Argentina has reached the final tournament. The last time Argentina reached the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup was in 2014.

Lionel Scaloni’s Messi and his team arrived at the Lucille Stadium today with the aim of not conceding a goal and disrupting the Croatian midfield’s attacks. The European team tried to attack from the start. Argentina, on the other hand, intensified its counter-attack. The Argentine attack broke through the Croatian defense several times and led to the European goal.

In the 33rd minute, a foul on goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic as he resisted Julian Alvarez’s drive resulted in Messi winning a penalty. This is the Argentine superstar’s fifth goal in Qatar. And five minutes later, a one-on-one by Alvarez extended Argentina’s lead.

In the second half, Croatia continued to try in every way to return the goal, but none of them managed to shake the Argentine goal. Alvarez scores his goal in the 69th minute as Messi advances. With that, Croatia’s access to the final tournament was almost over.

Arjanamrina’s opponent in the final is tomorrow’s France Morocco. The semi-final of France Morocco will be played tomorrow at 12.30 Indian time at Al Bayat Stadium. The final of the tournament is on December 18th.
