Another bad news for fans of Dariusz Szpakowski. A few days after the legendary sports commentator was unceremoniously removed from the Euro 2020 final, i.e. the Sunday match between England and Italy, the news spread on the web that his dialogue lines will be missing in the next installment of the FIFA series. In the Polish language version, another voice will appear in its place.

It is true that Electronic Arts has revealed only a handful information about the new engine using the full potential of technology motion capture and the prices of individual FIFA 22 editions, but information on the content of the Polish-language version of the game has been released to the network. It turns out that Dariusz Szpakowski will not comment on matches that we will play on our own.

Information that FIFA 22 will get a new commentator has appeared, among others on the Kartomania channel. Its authors do not reveal where they got the information about this change, but they argue that the matter is more than certain: Dariusz Szpakowski in the video game is to be replaced by Tomasz Smokowski, who is slightly younger than him, who has been commenting on football matches for nearly 30 years. years.

The new commentator will cover virtual matches with Jacek Laskowski, with whom Electronic Arts has already cooperated in previous years. According to Kartomania, however, the change took place at the last minute, so Smokowski recorded Szpakowski’s lines with only minor changes. Whether it was really so, we will find out on October 1, 2021, when FIFA 22 will be in the hands of players.
