The election to the post of president of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) is advancing rapidly with a list of 81 voters to be convinced.
These are 14 clubs in the league 1 league (Asec mimosas, Africa Sport, As Tanda, WAC, SC Gagnoa, SOA, Bouaké FC, SOL FC, Issia Wazi, RCA, ASI Abengourou, USC Bassam, FC San pedro, AFAD Abidjan).
But also, from 24 clubs in Ligue 2 (ES Bafing, Stade Abidjan, RFC Yakro, EFYM, COSAP, Séwé Sport, Cosmos, RFC Aboisso, JCAT, CO Korhogo, Moossou FC, AFAK, Stella Club, Denguélé Sport, LYS Sassandra , Mouna FC, US Fermiers, ES Bingerville, Siguilolo FC, CO Bouaflé, Songon FC, Espérance Bouaké, Sirocco FC, OFC Adiaké).
In the third division, 38 clubs will vote, namely Ivoire Académie, Alliance Indénié, US Niablé, EDUS Aboisso, Espoir Koumassi, ISCA, Zoman FC, Abidjan City, Sabé Sport, OSA FC, Atlétic Adjamé, CO Monajoce, Sacraboutou, Schadrac FC, RC Koumassi, ES Agboville, Lanfiara Sport, Yopougon FC, Séraphins FC, II Plateaux FC, G27, AS Divo, ASC Bouaké, JAC Zuénoula, N’ZI FC, OC Taabo, Marahoué FC, EBC Arrah, IFER, AGIR , ASCO, ES Issia, FC Solidarité, Gbalet Sport, Guerry FC, Sugar FC, Koro FC Borotou, RC Daloa).

Among the voters, there are also five interest groups. These are the Association des Footballeurs Ivoiriens (AFI), the Amicale des Anciens Footballeurs de Côte d’Ivoire (AAFCI), the Coaching Commission, the Referees Commission and the Doctors’ Commission.
In total, there are 76 clubs and five interest groups which will have to decide the future of Ivorian football, it being understood that the 14 clubs in League 1 have three votes per club, ie 42 votes, the 24 clubs of league 2 have 2 votes per club or 48 votes, the 38 division 3 clubs have one vote per club or 38 votes and the five interest groups, one vote per group or five votes.
The date of the next presidential election at the FIF will be known at the end of the Ordinary General Assembly of the body scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2020, it is recalled.
