Fien, Kawtar, Eva and Sander present ‘De Warmste Week’: “It will be exhausting” | Show

ShowAnother two weeks and then a new edition of De Warmste Week will take place in Hasselt. None other than Fien Germijns, Kawtar Ehlalouch, Eva De Roo and Sander Gillis will be doing non-stop radio for charity for six days. VRT makes it known.

The Warmste Week returns to its roots and, just like before corona, becomes a real radio marathon. The four presenters – Fien Germijns, Kawtar Ehlalouch, Eva De Roo and Sander Gillis – will be doing non-stop radio for six days. “Last year, five permanent duos took turns and the program didn’t last all night,” says MNM presenter Kawtar Ehlalouch. “Now we’re going to be doing 24-hour radio for six days with four presenters, so there’s not a single time you won’t hear a voice on the radio.” The radio marathon will be broadcast on Studio Brussels, MNM and VRT Max.

“It will be very pleasant to be with the three women at Het Warmste Huis,” says MNM presenter Sander Gillis. “As a newly united family, we will have to make the best of it. It will be exhausting, but I also hope for many moments of good atmosphere. It will work”. This year’s theme is the fight against poverty. “I am honored to be able to hear these stories firsthand,” says Fien Germijns, presenter of Eén and Studio Brussel. “There will be many cold showers, but it’s nice be shaken. People don’t talk about it very often. I hope they’ll find a safe place with us to do it.”

People who want to support can request their favorite record from today via dewarmsteweek.be. You can also support or organize fundraising campaigns, buy flames to pin on your clothes or participate in one of the five Warmathons. These running and walking events are organized in Bruges, Sint-Niklaas, Brussels, Mechelen and Leuven. Various artists will also perform in Hasselt, such as Oscar and the wolf, Pommelien Thijs and Goldband.
