‘Feyenoord would rather Linssen today than tomorrow and had already met Veerman’

Feyenoord’s interest in Bryan Linssen and Joey Veerman is more than serious, says club watcher Martijn Krabbendam of Voetbal International. The Vitesse top scorer will soon be transfer-free and the Volendam Heerenveen midfielder will be stuck in the Abe Lenstra Stadium for two more years.

Linssen should replace the heavily injured Luis Sinisterra in De Kuip. “I think Feyenoord will wait a while, although the club is already busy on certain fronts. Someone like Bryan Linssen would rather have them today than tomorrow,” said Krabbendam in a YouTubeitem of VI. Strengthening the left outer position has the highest priority for Feyenoord, after the disappearance of Sinisterra and the interim departure of Sam Larsson. “Then an experienced player like Linssen, who is also transfer-free, could be an excellent option.”

Veerman recently gave a ‘politically correct answer’ when he was asked about Feyenoord, but according to Krabbendam, the Rotterdammers also want to bring him in. “If Feyenoord had money, they would have added it to the selection long ago. Because they think that this boy could also take big steps. But that money is not there at the moment.”
