From November 19 to 21, 2021, the Comic Strip Festival in Colomiers celebrates its 35th anniversary. Over the years, it has been able to reinvent itself, renew itself, and even resist a health crisis to continue to attract an ever-increasing public and enjoy a good reputation in professional circles. For this new edition, he once again asserts his artistic line by mixing illustration with other artistic forms: concerts, shows, cinema, readings, digital … Through this program that is both sharp, varied and festive, it reaches informed audiences of the Comic Strip but also a family and intergenerational audience.
By putting young authors at the heart of its programming, our festival affirms its uniqueness: to discover young artists and support them in their professional careers. The festival also strongly supports independent booksellers and publishers. The City of Colomiers reiterates, for the 4th edition, the “All You Need is Read” operation with the support of Toulouse Métropole, in collaboration with 2 independent publishers, 16 bookstores and 4 libraries in the metropolis!
