“I have many good memories of Suzuka. I think one of my best moments was overtaking Michael[Schumacher]in the famous 130R curve. It was a nice overtaking, “said Fernando.
“The same goes for winning the race in 2006. It was a great moment for the championship approaching the season finale in Brazil. Suzuka has good memories for me and the fans are always fantastic.”
“Suzuka is an exciting test for an F1 driver,” said Fernando Alonso of his favorite part of the Suzuka circuit.
“It’s a historic track and one of the most fun places to drive. This weekend we’re moving from a street circuit to a more traditional track, with some challenging corners and sequences.”
“The weather is also changeable, so you never know what’s going to happen. I also love Japanese culture and the fans can create a special atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorites this year.”
