“The lead times necessary to prepare for such a large-scale production no longer allow us to wait any longer for possible decisions,” the Staatz municipality explains this step on its website. There is a lack of planning security with regard to regulations, safety measures and maximum visitor limits.
The tickets that have already been purchased will remain valid for the replacement performances in 2022, depending on the seat. Further information can be found at www.felsenbuehne-staatz.at/tickets.
However, the culture fans do not go away empty-handed: The Felsenbühne offers – taking into account the currently applicable guidelines – a replacement program. The musical show “The Show Must Go On” will be shown (23, 24, 30, 31 July, 6 and 7 August, at 8.30 p.m.). At the end of the season (August 8th, 8 pm) the concert “Las Vegas Legends under the Stars” with Stella Jones, Andy Lee Lang, Werner Auer and the Tom Henkes Big Band is also planned.
Important: Tickets for “Sister Act” and “Musical under the stars” that have already been purchased are not valid for the replacement program, as the number of seats has to be halved due to the corona.
Ticket sales for “The Show Must Got On” and “Las Vegas Legends Under the Stars” will start on Monday, April 12th at 8:00 am.
