Feldkirchen:Money for broadband expansion

The municipality of Feldkirchen will receive 4.75 million euros from the federal funding program to support broadband expansion. The Bundestag members Florian Hahn (CSU) from Putzbrunn and Bela Bach (SPD) from Planegg are equally pleased, as they announced in press releases sent almost simultaneously on Wednesday morning. According to Hahn, the project will invest in the development of underserved addresses as requested. The total costs amount to 9.5 million euros, half of which is borne by the federal government. Bach reminds us that Kirchheim was granted funding back in May. The complaints in the east of the district about a lack of fast internet connection could now fall silent, according to the SPD MP, who sits on the Committee for Transport and Digital Infrastructure and has a say in funding.
