Zouhair Feddal has confirmed that he will leave Sporting at the end of the season.
In an interview with Jornal do Sporting, the Moroccan central defender guarantees that he will forever root for the green and whites.
«I will be a lion forever I will always support Sporting and try to follow the club as much as possible. Wherever I am, Sporting will always be a great club for me and I will always wish them to continue to win many titles and be the best in Portugal”, he declared.
Feddal says he still takes with him not only the titles, but also the people he met in Alvalade.
“I will always remember [o Sporting] with great affection, remembering the moments I lived here, the trophies I won and remembering the people I met here».
And as far as people are concerned, there is a leonine symbol that the player admits he will miss the most.
«From Paulinho, the wardrobe. I have a very good relationship with him, he always treated me with great affection and he is special. He gives everything for Sporting, he is a symbol of the club and an example of overcoming everything. He is a very funny person and very important to us”, he emphasizes.
Having been an important part of breaking the national title fast, in a team that mixes experience and youth, Feddal also leaves a message for the younger ones, among praising Amorim.
«To the younger players, to the formation ones, I also say that they continue to work because with Ruben the opportunity will arise», he pointed out, before praising the coach.
“Really enjoyed [de trabalhar com Amorim]. He is a very young coach, but he has a lot of knowledge. I will be eternally grateful to him for giving me the opportunity to come to Sporting. I wish you the best of luck and hope you achieve all your goals. He deserves all the best because, for me, good people always deserve the best.”
