FC Volendam attacker Doodeman delivers five (!) Assists against Young AZ

An unprecedentedly productive Nick Doodeman piloted FC Volendam past Young AZ on Monday. Wim Jonk’s team won 2-6, Doodeman delivered five (!) Assists.

Jong AZ – FC Volendam 2-6
Doodeman received fifteen minutes from Jonk against Young PSV last Friday and already managed to give three assists. The attacker had it on his hips again against Young AZ. Only Marco Tol, who made the 0-1, was not served by Doodeman.

The goals of Francesco Antonucci, Martijn Kaars, Ibrahim El Kadiri, Derry John Murkin and Samuele Mulattieri were prepared by Doodeman. Doodeman is working on an unprecedented series for Volendam and has given eight assists in the last 106 minutes.

Due to the big win, Volendam climbs in the rankings, the club is now seventh with twelve points.

Roda JC – Telstar 1-1
A disappointing match between Roda and Telstar ended in a 1-1 draw. The club from Velsen-Zuid had to do without Mister Telstar Frank Korpershoek, who was injured in the previous match against TOP Oss.

Only in the second half was there scored, after a sleep-inducing first half. Erik Falkenburg put Roda ahead after more than fifty minutes. That goal seemed enough for the victory, but Telstar fought back in the final phase. Welat Cagro set the final score at 1-1 just before time. He did that from the dot.

Young Ajax – Young FC Utrecht 3-2
Young Ajax has achieved a victory in the Kitchen Champion Division for the second time in a row. Mitchell van der Gaag’s team defeated FC Utrecht at De Toekomst Jong: 3-2.

Young Utrecht entered with a strengthened team, but that did not lead to a victory. Maarten Paes was on target and trainer René Hake could also call on Davy van den Berg, Giovanni Troupée, Othmane Boussaid and Daniel Arzani.

Only in the second half did the game start. Substitute Sontje Hansen took the lead for Young Ajax after a fire and Terrence Douglas (his first professional goal) also scored. Young Utrecht seemed paralyzed, but fought back into the game via Jeredy Hilterman. Brian Brobbey scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 3-1, after which Hilterman set the final score at 3-2.

Young Ajax, which started the season dramatically, is now on twelve points.

Helmond SportDe Graafschap 1-2
De Graafschap took three points after a very difficult match on a visit to Helmond Sport. The formation of trainer Mike Snoei cleared ten minutes before time, via Jonathan Opoku, to drag a 1-2 victory out of the fire. It took De Superboeren a lot of effort, but three points were nevertheless taken on a visit to Helmond.

It seemed to be a simple match for De Graafschap, then Toine van Huizen already scored the opening goal after three minutes. However, nothing could be further from the truth: the game became a bit more difficult and after fifteen minutes of play the equalizer was already on the scoreboard: Lance Duijvestijn De Graafschap managed to outwit Rody de Boer.

The away team then had the upper hand in the second half, but was unable to express this in the score. The three points went back to Doetinchem, however: Opoku tapped the winning goal behind Helmond keeper Stijn van Gassel. The victory puts De Graafschap in fourth place in the Kitchen Champion Division. The Super Farmers scored sixteen points from seven games.
