FC Metz Moselle: the adventure continues

It is a convention whose creation dates back to 2011. Thanks to it, FC Metz can strengthen its links with amateur football and support the future hopes of the department in their training. Its affiliated clubs thus benefit from the expertise of professional sport in order to develop their training structures.

This Saturday, in the presence of the Vice-President of the Departmental Council of Moselle in charge of Sports Jean François, the Mayor of Metz François Grosdidier, the President of the Moselle Football District Christophe Sollner, the President of FC Metz Bernard Serin and the President of the ‘Association FC Metz Pierre Gillet, eight Moselle teams have endorsed this partnership which aims to develop the spotting and supervised training of young players.

As part of the FC Metz Moselle Convention, US Forbach, FC Sarrebourg, APM Metz, CSO Amnéville, EN Saint-Avold, Thionville FC, RS Magny and Sarreguemines FC are now linked to the garnet club for the next two years.

For its part, FC Metz undertakes to:

➤ coordinate the project and support clubs in the process;
➤ provide FC Metz Moselle with a project coordinator and a technical advisor in direct contact with each partner club;
➤ organize training and promotion sessions for players, educators and sports coaches from the clubs concerned;
➤ organize outsourced training sessions with clubs;
➤ offer training at the partner club’s facilities.
