FBI trains the house of the “youtuber” Jake Paul

FBI agents, including a SWAT team, raided the YouTube star’s home Jake Paul.

The FBI executed the search warrant Wednesday at 6 a.m. at the mansion located in Calabasas, California, as part of an ongoing investigation, FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said in a statement.

A judge sealed the order and Eimiller He said he could not reveal the nature of the investigation or the person to whom it was directed. Paul’s attorney, Richard Schonfeld, confirmed that the house was his.

“We understand that a search warrant was executed at Jake’s home in Calabasas this morning while Jake was out of state,” Schonfeld said in an email. “We are still gathering information and will cooperate with the investigation.”

Video of a local newscast shot from helicopters showed officers pulling multiple rifles from the massive property, with a box-ring and Jacuzzi in the backyard featured in many of Paul’s recent YouTube videos.

A SWAT team initially entered the property, Eimiller said. There were no arrests.

Police in Scottsdale, Ariz., Said Wednesday that they were going to drop charges of trespassing and unlawful meeting against Paul and two other people “so that a federal investigation could be completed,” but that they could file them later.

Paul had been charged in Arizona after appearing in a video in June inside a shopping mall in Scottsdale that had been forcibly entered by a crowd, looting stores.

Paul said in another YouTube video that he was only looking for people protesting the death of George Floyd, and that he was not involved in the destruction.

23-year-old Paul has more than 20 million followers on his YouTube channel, which includes stunts, pranks, stories from his life, and most recently music videos.

He rose to fame on the Vine video app and was an actor on the Disney Channel show “Bizard Pig” by two years.

Her older brother Logan Paul has a similar YouTube channel with even more followers.

Neighbors have complained for years about the activities that Jake Paul has done on his property for his YouTube channel.

Last month, the Mayor of Calabasas, Alicia Weintraub, He criticized harshly for a video showing dozens of people at a party at his home amid the coronavirus pandemic. The guests did not wear face masks or seemed to comply with the social distancing.
