Fayez Al-Maliki Leaves Filming Due to Emotional Response to Humanitarian Situation

Al-Marsad Newspaper: A video clip from the “Omnia” program documented the crying of artist Fayez Al-Maliki, affected by a humanitarian situation.

The video, which was shown by the “Saudi Arabia” channel, showed Fayez Al-Maliki talking to a citizen and her child, who suffers from sickle cell anemia.

Al-Maliki began his conversation with the child, expressing his happiness at meeting him, then he asked him about his hobby, and the child replied, saying: “PlayStation.” Al-Maliki presented him with a PlayStation gift.

Al-Maliki spoke with the child’s mother and told him that she has 3 children, one of whom suffers from sickle cell anemia and two with sickle cell anemia and thalassemia, and she has been visiting hospitals for 18 years, noting that she has 6 sons, “two girls and 4 boys”, and 3 of them have the disease and the rest are carriers of the disease.

Al-Maliki cried, saying: “I was surprised by this problem,” and continued: “I can’t go on, guys.” Then he left. Referring to his inability to continue filming the episode after being affected by the humanitarian situation.
