As the Spanish newspaper “La Vanguardia” reports, the incident took place in the Catalan city of Mataró. An argument broke out in a parking lot after a dispute.

Yamal’s father suffered “several stab wounds” and lost a lot of blood, it is said. He was taken to a hospital where he is being treated. His condition is serious but not life-threatening.

Authorities arrest several people
