Father raped his daughter for 7 years, police: victims are afraid of stories because they are threatened by Page all

KOMPAS.com – The unfortunate fate of a teenage girl in Siak Regency, Riau.

This is because for seven years she was a victim of rape by her own father with the initials LP (49).

For years being forced to serve her father’s lecherous desires, the victim admitted that she could only surrender and did not dare to report to anyone else.

The reason is because they are afraid of the threats made by the perpetrators.

“The victim never told anyone about the incident, because he received a threat from his biological father,” said Interim officer (Ps) Paur, Public Relations Sub-Section of Siak Bripka Police, Dedek Prayoga to Kompas.com, via WhatsApp message, Saturday (8/8/2020) .

From the victim’s confession, the first lecherous act committed by the perpetrator against his biological daughter was carried out since 2013.

At that time the victim was known to be still in junior high school or was 13 years old.

The rape case was only revealed seven years later. When the other victims’ relatives admitted that there were those who almost became victims of the rape of their father.

“The suspect was caught having an affair with another person and it was also known that the victim’s aunt was almost raped by the suspect. However, the victim’s aunt managed to fight back,” said Dedek.

On that basis, the victim finally dared to tell his mother and was later reported to the police.

After receiving a report from the victim and conducting an investigation, the police finally arrested the perpetrator.

When an examination was carried out, the perpetrator admitted his actions.

“The suspect is currently being investigated by the PPA Unit (Services for Women and Children) of the Siak Police Criminal Investigation Unit,” said Dedek.

For his actions, the suspect will be charged under Article 81 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with the threat of 15 years in prison.
