Each created their own company, but they work together. Éric Jan (Éric Services) and his 20-year-old son, Romann Jan (Clean Garden) have just started a garden maintenance business: lawn mowing, hedge trimming, flower bed cleaning, pruning… The father and son have chosen this mode of operation in pairs to save time. “We are going faster of course. Depending on the case, we divide the minimum duration of a project by two, or even more”, explains Romann Jan.
A career change
The duo is equipped with all the necessary equipment (mower, hedge trimmer, brushcutter, blower, small pruner). They can offer maintenance contracts for the year and are able, for major projects, to intervene beyond Carantec.
It is for both of them a change of professional orientation. Éric Jan managed the Estran garage in Carantec for seven years, while his son was previously a sales agent in car dealerships in Lorient, then in Morlaix.
