Fatal accident: tractor driver dies while trying to help friends | Inland

A police spokesman said. The incident took place around 3.10 am on Dorpsweg in Hoogblokland. The three occupants of the van ran off the road and called their friend with a tractor to get them out of the ditch.

During the action, the tractor overturned and the driver died. According to the police spokesperson, something probably went wrong with a certain maneuver with which he tried to pull the car out of the ditch with the tractor. “It is a very unfortunate accident,” said the police spokesman. The three occupants of the van were uninjured.
