Fashion designer Josh Veldhuizen and her friend Nick Amann have tested positive for the corona virus, Veldhuizen reports Instagram. The two have been officially in isolation since Tuesday.
Under a photo, in which the couple wears mouth masks, the 33-year-old designer writes: “Monday evening Nick became unwell; he became increasingly anxious, after which I eventually had to call an ambulance. He was taken to the hospital and further investigated and tested there. After feeling a little better a few hours later, he was allowed to go home. To be on the safe side, a corona test was eventually taken, but the doctors themselves indicated that this would be very unlikely. “
However, he was found to be infected with the virus. Veldhuizen and daughter Alexis were also tested. Their daughter turned out not to carry the virus with her, Veldhuizen herself. “I have not had a high fever and feel – according to circumstances – fine,” she writes. “Tuesday and Wednesday I was a bit flu, but now quite okay again.”
Her friend is “already on the mend”. They follow the guidelines that GGD advises.
