former ‘Teen Mom’ Star Farrah Abraham Announces Comedy Show at Spearmint Rhino, Eyes Grammy award
New York, NY – Former MTV reality star Farrah Abraham is embarking on a new career path: stand-up comedy. Abraham announced she will be performing a show at Spearmint Rhino in Manhattan, aiming too leverage her life experiences into comedic material and setting a bold goal of winning a Grammy award next year.
The 33-year-old told Access Hollywood on February 27 that she has been studying comedians and reflecting on her life. ”Over the years, I just learned as I will really have to reflect on my full life trip to celebrate and laugh with people and be able to do what I really want to do, which is comedy,” she stated.
Abraham revealed she completed a trauma program to help process and find humor in “crazy experiences” from her past. “That helped me to become the best comedian I can be and I am totally ready,” she saeid. “I can’t wait to laugh at everyone in Manhattan.”
The show will cover Abraham’s life transitions, the current cast of ”Teen Mom,” and pop culture.She confidently declared her intention to “take all those comedy awards,” even issuing a challenge to established comedians like Nikki Glaser.
In a recent Instagram post announcing the event,Abraham highlighted her unique background,stating,”Many of the boys in comedy always talk about,as,if they were a porn star,if they had [Solo fans] but baby,I’ve been ther,done that,I have the shirt. So you need a credible comedian to get there.” She also announced plans to offer lap dances after the show, promising an “exclusive meet & hello” with photo opportunities.
Since leaving MTV over seven years ago, Abraham has pursued various ventures, including adult entertainment, podcasting, and music. She has also launched merchandise lines, recently promoting a 2025 calendar and coffee flip book, as well as a kitchen-focused brand called ”brooming food with Farrah: falling favorites.”
