National Democratic Party (NasDem) cadre Muhammad Farhan reveals the pair of TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa and the leader of the DPR RI, Rachmat Gobel, will be one of the pairs proposed at the National Working Meeting NasDem future. He said that the two people were discussed by NasDem to be carried out in the 2024 presidential election.
“If you look closely, there are two names that have just been discussed to be the names of the presidential candidates who might be proposed in the National Working Meeting of the NasDem Party in Jakarta later,” Farhan said as quoted by Antara. detikJabarWednesday (25/5/2022).
Farhan said the two names were General Andika Perkasa as a figure representing the cadre of national leaders from the TNI. In addition, Rahmat Gobel became a figure who rose to represent a cadre of national leaders from eastern Indonesia.
“The dynamics of the emergence of the two new names have made the presidential race very interesting,” he said.

Farhan then made sure NasDem do not hesitate to determine the mirror figure from the previous election event. He said that the candidate pair was still dynamic in line with the dynamics of the coalition that might occur.
“Not doubting, but considering carefully. However, for presidential or vice presidential candidates, the name of NasDem cadre Rachmat Gobel should be taken into account in line with the aspirations of cadres and DPW from eastern Indonesia,” he said.
