British actor Paul Grant died at the age of 56. A man only 130 centimeters tall played the role of hairy Ewoks in Star Wars, he also appeared in films with the wizard Harry Potter. The actor’s drug addiction and positive relationship with alcohol most likely contributed to his sudden death.
Star Wars and Harry Potter fans sad. At the age of 56, the British actor Paul Grant, who, for example, took on the role of the cute Ewoks, died suddenly. According to the website The Sun Grant was found unconscious outside one of London’s railway stations.
He was then taken to hospital where he fought for his life. However, he was disconnected from the equipment and pronounced dead on Sunday, the newspaper reported Daily Mail. “Paul was the love of my life. The funniest man I know. Life will never be the same without him,” said Grant’s friend Maria Dwyer.
“I’m devastated. My dad was a legend in many ways. He always put a smile on everyone’s face. He would go out of his way for others and was a huge Arsenal fan,” said his daughter Sophie Jayne Grant after his father’s death.
Grant appeared in Star Wars VI: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, The Dead and Labyrinth. In addition to acting, he also tried out the role of a stuntman, and according to his friends, he claimed to be the king of the dwarfs. However, he fell into drug and alcohol addiction, which may have been one of the reasons for his sudden death.
