Famke Louise takes video offline and apologizes

After other influencers, Famke Louise also took the video from the internet, in which she called on her followers to stop participating in the government’s corona measures. She writes that she no longer supports the message.

She says on Instagram to her more than 1 million followers that it was never her intention to encourage people to be laconic with the measures. “I realize the seriousness of making unsubstantiated statements,” she says. “I would like to apologize to all who have felt hurt or confused and promise to do my best.”

Last night Famke Louise was a guest on Eva Jinek’s talk show. That was not a happy performance, she writes. “At the table yesterday I was nervous and I was not able to tell my story the way I wanted to.” And: “I wanted to live up to the words by making myself known on TV, what I could not have foreseen was the total silence and lack of support around me.”

Other artists

Also other celebrities have the videos that they Monday evening posted with #ikdoenietmeermee taken from the internet.

The Dutch online hip-hop platform Spring writes that Bizzey, Rugged, Trobi, Dyna, Outsiders, DJ Chuckie, Zoe Livay, Abstract, Yes-R and Kosso deleted their videos “without notice”. Singer Tim Douwsma has also removed the video from Instagram.
