The evening will take place on Thursday of the next week, November 5th (Thursday) from 7.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. in the rooms of the Weidkorb daycare center (Kolpingstraße 32). “Today, childhood no longer has the light-heartedness of earlier decades. Learning is in the foreground, early childhood education and support are the central themes, ”says the press release from the family center. “The focus of work in kindergarten is the game.” It is played freely and with guidance. There are rule games, educational games, exercise games, social learning games, and much more.
“How do the desire for support and children’s play fit together?” “How important is free play in kindergarten?” “Why should children play at all?” These and other questions are the focus of the evening of the lecture. Using practical examples, the connection between playing and learning is explained and parents’ questions about appropriate play are answered.
The evening will be led by Klaus Fischer, a graduate social worker and systemic family therapist. The hygiene and distance rules of the Corona Protection Ordinance must be adhered to in the rooms of the Weidkorb daycare center.
