Jesús Jauregui was another of the parents who attended the appointment at the Health Center so that his daughters Mía and Sofía could complete their vaccination schedule.

“With the times we live in, it is of the utmost importance that they are protected with all their vaccines so that no disease can reach them. I think it’s perfect that they do these campaigns. This Center is close to work for me, which is why I brought them here,” she said.

Alejandra Rubio came with her family to vaccinate her six-year-old and four-month-old children.

“It is excellent that they do these campaigns because in particular it is very expensive. I am pro-vaccine and I think everyone should be. There are vaccines that are not available in other Centers and that I was able to apply to my baby”, she added.

Also, they highlighted that, despite being very crowded, the waiting time was shortso they invited all the parents to bring their children.

The Jalisco Health Secretariat (SSJ) announced that, through the Universal Vaccination program, it will carry out the Special Vaccination Day for girls and boys on Saturdays from May 28 to June 28 of this year, in different health centers of the Metropolitan Area of ​​Guadalajara.

Within this special day The hexavalent vaccine will be applied, which protects against six diseases, as well as the biological ones against Measles, Rubella and Mumps (SRP vaccine) and against Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis (TDPA vaccine)while seeking to complete the vaccination schemes contemplated in the National Health Booklet.

He reported that, starting this year, the MMR vaccine will be supplied in two doses, at 12 and 18 months of age; measure that, therefore, already applies to babies born in 2021.
