Mehmet Doğan (35), who became ill after a while after drinking fake alcohol in İzmir, was treated in Buca Seyfi Demirsoy Training and Research Hospital, and Doğan Aksın (76) in a private hospital in the city.
Doğan and Aksın, who were treated in the intensive care unit, could not be saved despite all the interventions. The bodies of Doğan and Aksın were taken to the morgue of the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute after the prosecutor’s investigation.
The exact cause of death of Doğan and Aksın will be determined by autopsy. On the other hand, the number of people who lost their lives due to fake alcohol rose to 35 throughout the city.
TWO PEOPLE LOSE MORE LIVES
Can Yılmaz, who lived in Konak district in Izmir this morning, was hospitalized for fake alcohol and died despite all the interventions made here. Also in Izmir, Ali V., who was poisoned by fake drink, died in Tepecik Training and Research Hospital, where he was treated.
THE NUMBER RISE TO 80
October 9th from various cities in Turkey today the death toll rose to 80 from fake liquor.
