Fahd bin Nafel Removes “President of Al-Hilal Club” from Twitter Account in Reaction to Privatization Decision

Al-Marsad newspaper: Fahd bin Nafel surprised Al-Hilal fans by removing the phrase “President of Al-Hilal Club” from his accounts via the “Twitter” micro-blogging site.

The phrase “Chairman of the Crescent” was removed; As the first reaction from Bin Nafel, to the decision to privatize the club along with Al-Nasr, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly, and to dissolve the boards of directors; until new elections are held.

Commenting on this, the sports journalist Musaed Al Jeraisy said: “There was a lot of talk about the reason for removing the master of forums, Fahd bin Nafel, the phrase of the president of Al Hilal Club, from his account via (Twitter).”

Al-Juraisi added, through his official account on the Twitter micro-blogging site: “In short… the end of his term as president of Al-Hilal Club, and because he is a specialized man and believes in institutional work and in the names of positions and powers, he removed this phrase.”
