What was your background before being appointed to the command of the company of Forbach ?
“I was born in Lorient in the Morbihan in 1986. After my preparatory classes, in letters to the military college of The Arrow, I entered Saint-Cyr and graduated in 2010. I have used up in 2015 at the 17th engineer regiment paratrooper in Montauban. In 2015, I changed and went to the police to the school of Melun. From 2016 to the early 2020’s, I was commander of squadron of the mobile gendarmerie of Saint-Quentin in Picardy. I have carried out several missions in French Guiana, Polynesia, Guadeloupe, but also during the crisis of the yellow Vests, and on the ZAD of Notre-Dame-Des-Landes. I was assigned to Forbach in February to take a position in march. “

Were you expecting such beginnings to Forbach ?
“I think that before the establishment of the containment, nobody expected such a crisis. We were going to live under the bell with such restrictions. Normally, when you go into a new command, we take the time to know the women and men of the brigades, the elect and all the partners of the police. From march 16, all the brigades have been isolated and have been working in a vacuum. We had to organize very quickly and effectively. “

What specific measures have you taken ?
“We have applied what we call the system lined. In each brigade or service, only 50 % of staff have been present at the same time. If the virus were to touch a part of the team, the other would remain and operational. We then, on a daily basis, organized our presence on the public highway in order to enforce containment measures to the population. “

How did this period in your constituency ?
“The containment has been generally well-respected. There has been a few adjustments in the beginning in the cities. It was very beautiful, the people had no outdoor space, it is a difficult situation to live. So far, everyone has understood the individual and collective benefits of this confinement, even though each was anxious that it ends. “

This past period, on what the company Forbach will focus its efforts now ?
“My mandate is to enforce the law everywhere, for all and all the time. One of my priorities will be to look into Nassweiler, this street tobacco and games rooms German on the border with Cocheren. This is clearly an area of an underground economy. We will need to rebuild our partnership with our German colleagues to carry out wide-ranging actions. I can’t abide to look elsewhere. “
