Facebook presenta Hotline, alternativa a Clubhouse

Give hosts control over audience participation

After several rumors, Finally Facebook has announced the launch of its option to compete against Clubhouse: Hotline.

This app is the product of the development division called NPE Team, in the hands of Erik Hazzard, who adapted the Clubhouse concept to make it look like a live streaming site, adding the option of being able to ask questions and answers in a moderate way.

The first chapter was made in the United States (not available in Mexico), with the investor Nick Huber, from his website, allowing access via Twitter, where you could see a waiting list and a tool for those who want to create their own Show.

For now, the app for smartphones has not yet been launched, although they already have designs for them. In this way they will offer a different alternative to Clubhouse, where they would be more like messenger rooms but in audio format.

Hosts will also be able to use video for their sessions and schedule their presentations accepting questions and answers (in text format), being able to record the sessions in video and audio format. The most voted questions will be answered with emojis. Guests can also be added to participate virtually live if they wish.
