Spotify now also wants to offer paid podcast subscriptions
Spotify quickly followed suit, after Apple’s announcement last week. Unlike Apple, Spotify wants to give podcasters 100% of the proceeds in the first year and only divert 5% for itself in the second year. The whole thing is handled via Anchor, so theoretically paid podcasts could also be heard outside of the Spotify app.
Facebook builds in Spotify Player
Last time we asked ourselves how Facebooks wants to start its big audio initiative – and make podcasts audible within its own app.
