A volcano erupted in Japan and spewed ash several kilometers high. Authorities warned of the danger of lava flows and falling rocks. So far there are no data on dead and injured people.
The level of danger from the volcano “Aso” on the island of Kyushu was raised to the highest fifth degree, NovaTV reported.
People were also banned from approaching the area of the eruption because of the imminent danger. Volcanic ash is expected to cover nearby cities in the coming hours.
