In the Russian city of Belgorod at night powerful explosions have erupted. A fire broke out in the city center.

Residents heard several explosions. Then a fire broke out in the area of Sadovaya and Chumichova streets. It is also reported for explosions near the airport.
In the center of Belgorod, the sound was so loud that windows shook and car alarms went off and started screeching.

A little later TASS reported that three people died and four others were injured.
According to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov, 11 residential buildings and at least 39 private houses were damaged.
Of these, five private houses were completely destroyed.
The governor did not indicate the reasons for the explosions in the city. So far, there is no comment from the Ukrainian side.
We remind you that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky already denied the involvement of Ukrainian forces in the previous incidents in Belgorod, saying that Kyiv had never used weapons to attack Russia from its territory.
Later, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kirill Budanov, said that Russians should get used to provocations by their own military, as happened in Belgorod.
