– Local media reported that an explosion occurred in a Korean company in Tianjin, China, killing one and injuring seven.
According to the local media, Jin Yun-mang (津雲網), the accident occurred at 12:50 pm (local time) on the 14th at the factory of the vehicle parts manufacturer Jessie Ai located in the Economic Development Zone near Tianjin International Airport. Immediately after the accident, the Tianjin Binhai New District Emergency Management Bureau and the Tianjin Free Trade Zone fire and rescue teams were dispatched to rescue.
