BALTIMORE, Maryland | A large explosion Monday morning in Baltimore, Maryland completely destroyed many homes, leaving at least one dead and several seriously injured.

Several houses exploded. At least 5 people trapped, some children. A Collapse Respose and Second Alarm has been called.

In a message posted to Twitter, Baltimore firefighters confirmed that one person was killed in the blast and three others were between life and death. Children could be among the rubble, according to firefighters.
The cause of the explosion is still unknown at this time.
