However, the chairman of the Pasuruan Regency DPRD, Sudiono Fauzan, denied this information. Sudiono emphasized that Randy Bagus’ father was not a member of the Pasuruan DPRD.
“I hereby convey that it is not true that the news that Bripda Randy’s parents are members of the Pasuruan Regency DPRD in Commission II,” said Sudiono on Monday (12/6/2021), quoted from Tribunmataraman.com.
He added that none of the DPRD members had the name Niryono and came from the Pandaan electoral district (dapil).
“Once again, I make sure that the Niryono mentioned on social media is not a member of the council,” said Sudiono.
The PKB politician also asked the people of Pasuruan to remain calm and maintain conduciveness regarding this worrisome incident.
“Keep maintaining the conduciveness, especially the condition is still a pandemic,” he said.
On the other hand, he expressed grief and concern over the death of NW, Randy Bagus’ girlfriend. He also condemned Randy’s actions.
“I support the decisive steps taken by the National Police Chief and his staff to quickly uncover cases that have caught the public’s attention and to impose strict and harsh sanctions on Bripda Randy,” said Sudiono.
