Available data suggest that fibroids affect about two out of three women, occurs mainly in those between the ages of 30 and 50. These fibroids can form within the muscular wall of the uterus or uterine cavity and are composed of fibrous and muscular tissue. The fact is that fibroids, of which there are three types, can affect fertilityreducing a woman’s chances of becoming pregnant and being able to carry a whole baby.
