The company Expanscape presented an obscure concept parallel to CES 2020 – but not on the show floor. The Aurora 7 is a laptop with seven different screens. These protrude on the left, right and above the actual Clamshell notebook. Another screen was even placed next to the touchpad.
Job market
The manufacturers emphasize that the device shown is still a prototype that is supposed to present the idea itself: a mobile command center for devsecops, content creators, data analysts or stockbrokers. The system has a total of four 17.3-inch screens with 4K resolution and three 7-inch panels with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. The small screen next to the touchpad is designed to integrate a touchscreen.
The screens are connected directly to the GPU and the power supply of the prototype. No additional power supplies should be necessary, since the batteries supply the entire system. In addition, the device runs with an Intel Core i9-9900K processor, which was probably modified by the makers.
Take away server
The Teenyserv Duo, a mobile server with two 7-inch screens, is a little less conspicuous, but no less bizarre. One of them can be folded out. This system has little in common with the dual-screen devices shown at CES 2020. It is more reminiscent of a small suitcase and has even integrated handles and a keyboard. It is a server above all due to the powerful hardware equipment for a mobile device: 64 GB of RAM and an unspecified Core i7 processor with eight cores and a clock rate of 4 GHz are integrated. The system should also use an integrated Arduino microcontroller for various projects.

Except for a product page with images, there is no information about the prices or the availability of both devices. However, Expanscape wants to keep interested parties up to date and share further information in the future.
