VIVA – Former Liverpool player who is currently defending Barcelona, Luis Suarez joined in the Anfield public joy. He expressed his feelings through LFCTV some time ago.
Liverpool managed to seal the title following Manchester City’s defeat of Chelsea in the Premier League on Friday 26 June 2020. The Citizens surrendered with a score of 1-2.

This defeat makes Pep Guardiola’s squad no longer able to chase the points the Reds. Their maximum points are 84 while Liverpool have collected 86 points.
Euphoria of excitement felt in all elements of the club, no exception for the former, Luis Suarez. He congratulated all the Reds players, especially for his former colleague, Jordan Henderson.
“Congratulations to all Liverpool and Jordan Henderson players. I am happy for you and of course for all the elements at Liverpool,” Suarez said, as reported by the club’s official website.
“Happy celebrating the victory, this is an extraordinary moment for Liverpool because you are the champion,” he continued.

Suarez had previously defended the Reds in 2010 to 2014 then. He then chose to leave to Barcelona the following season.
