Even Adolf Hitler and the Nazis did not have 100% isolation / GORDON

Such an opinion on July 7 on the air of the national telethon, which was broadcast on the YouTube channel “Ukraine 24”said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.

The Foreign Minister was asked if Lavrov’s invitation to the G20 ministers’ summit was not a signal that Russia had begun to “be allowed to the diplomatic table.”

“Even when there are countries that allow Lavrov to the diplomatic table, there are other countries here that do not want to sit at the same table with him and do not attend these negotiations or ongoing working dinners,” Kuleba replied.

He acknowledged that there are countries ready to provide such a platform for Russia.

“100% isolation was not even in [лидера нацистской Германии] Adolf Hitler and the Nazi leaders. There were also countries that, despite the war, despite all the crimes they committed, continued to communicate. And some even provided asylum after the war. So here, too, there is an example for repetition,” the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

Another important thing, Kuleba continued, is that on the eve of the G20 meeting, he phoned with foreign ministers other G20 countries.

“We have coordinated our positions and coordinated what Mr. Lavrov will hear, what position our partners will promote at the meeting,” the Ukrainian minister summed up.

Context:

The meeting of the foreign ministers of the G20 countries is taking place in Indonesia on July 7-8.

As reported at the State Department, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the G20 countries will not communicate with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Lavrov.

How noted on the State Department website, Blinken traveled to a meeting in Bali to bolster the US commitment to working with international partners to address global challenges, including food and energy insecurity, and to discuss the threat posed to the international order by the ongoing Russia’s war against Ukraine.
