The participants of the event gathered on their own Discord-channel Chappy78 – the player said that before there were only 17 friends, and on his birthday he was visited by several thousand people. EVE Online users, including both large faction players and developers, formed armada and fired a salvo from warships.

Chappy78 also noted that in all the zones through which he flew, the chat exploded with congratulations. He even wandered into one of the most dangerous areas of Uedama, where the space pirates CODE trades. At any other time, his ship would be robbed without hesitation, but the famous group did not attack the birthday man.
