Prosperous Justice Party (VFD) appointed a number of figures to occupy the position of the Board of Experts, last Monday (24/1). One of the appointed figures is Evalina Heryanti, a Christian woman.
The figure who was once the Data Analysis and Assistance Team of the NOC of Indonesia for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games was appointed to be the PKS Expert Board in the field of Sports and Achievement.
Evalina admits to being happy and proud to be an SME Expert Council. According to him, his move to join the Council of Experts shows that PKS is a political party (parpol) open to all children of the nation, regardless of tribe, religion, and class.
“Praise God, I appreciate PKS, where this party is known as a party whose owners are Muslims, but as a Christian I can enter as a member of the Expert Council,” Eva said as quoted on the PKS official website, Wednesday (26/1).
For information, the PKS Expert Council is chaired by the former Governor of West Sumatra (West Sumatra), Irwan Prayitno. Irwan, Evalina and a number of other figures were inaugurated as the PKS Expert Council at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta, last Monday.
“The PKS Expert Council will be chaired by Irwan Prayitno. Apart from being a professor, he also has various experiences in the DPR RI as well as being the Governor of West Sumatra for the 2010-2020 period,” said PKS Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) Ahmad Fathul Bari, to CNNIndonesia.com.
Members of the PKS Expert Council will consist of various figures ranging from academics, scholars, the business world, retired TNI/Polri, to activists with different expertise to assist PKS in viewing every step and policy.
The existence of the Expert Council is in accordance with the mandate of the Chairman of the PKS Shura Council, Salim Segaf Al-Jufri, who stated that PKS is a political party belonging to all circles and is the big house of the Indonesian nation.
The PKS Expert Council does not only exist at the central level, but throughout the PKS structure at the provincial and district/city levels.
This board will give consideration of membership or expertise to the SME president.
