Ukraine received a total of 631 points during the Song Contest. Betting shops had already predicted that Ukraine would get a lot of votes from the public because of the war. After all performances had been Saturday, the chance of winning was estimated at 62 percent. The United Kingdom and Spain finished in second and third place respectively. The Dutch S10 was eleventh.

During a press conference after the final, Oleh announced that they will celebrate the victory ‘after the war’. “People are killed during the war, have to fight or lose their jobs. That’s not really an appropriate time to celebrate,” said Oleh.
