NEW ADVENTURES ON THE BIG SCREEN

Die European Outdoor Film Tour 2022 is at the door! The adventure backpack is full to the brim with new stories from people who unconditionally follow their passion. The makers of EOFT are looking forward to presenting the next edition of the best-known series of events of its kind in autumn 2022. Detailed information on the entire program will follow at the end of August. It’s already clear who that is „new face of adventure“ the EOFT 2022 will be: Ultrarunner Timothy Olson!

The premiere finds on October 13, 2022 in the old congress hall in Munich, followed by the big tour through Europe. Over 400 events are planned. The total running time of the films in the classic EOFT style is around 120 minutes. With the supporting program and moderation, an event lasts between two and a half and three hours. The dates of the event have been set, advance sales have started and tickets are available now.

TIMOTHY OLSON

THE NEW FACE OF ADVENTURE

In the summer of 2021 Timothy Olson on the Pacific Crest Trail the biggest challenge of his career. People usually complete the course of the PCT between five and six months. Timothy, however, manages to establish a new best time. He completes the 2,650-mile (4,265-km) route in the incredible record time of 51 days, 16 hours and 55 minutes. He ran around 50 miles (80 kilometers) a day!

Timothy is no stranger to the trail running scene: He won the prestigious “Western States Endurance Run” over 100 miles twice in a row in 2012 and 2013 and even set a new course record. As a father of two and a family man, he can always rely on his wife and children for his projects, who often accompany him on his adventures. Daily meditations also help
to keep the focus. In the EOFT 2022 movie THE MIRAGE let’s follow Timothy on the dusty trails of North America and try to keep up!
