Koharu Itagaki ‌Advances ‌in Europe Youth Top 10, Eyes ⁤Gold

Tours, France – November 26, 2023 ⁤- Koharu Itagaki of TSV Bad Königshofen/TSV Dachau is maintaining her‌ strong performance ‌at the Europe Youth Top 10 tournament‍ in Tours, continuing her pursuit ⁤of a title in the ⁣U15 girls’⁤ competition. itagaki is representing Germany alongside U15‍ boys’ competitor Lukas Wang (1.FC Saarbrücken-TT).

The Europe Youth Top⁢ 10, a prestigious event for young table tennis players, has a rich history of German success, with the nation ‌securing a total of ⁣40 medals ‌- 20 gold, 14 silver, and 11 bronze – since 1985.The tournament evolved from⁢ separate girls’ and boys’ competitions⁢ to include students’ categories in 2007.⁤ This year’s German contingent is guided by national coaches Jie Schöpp (NK2 female/U15) and⁢ Frank Schönemeier (NK2 Male/U15),​ with ana ⁢Beja-Pütz serving⁣ as‍ the referee.
