Europe Getting Horrified? Italy declares state of emergency here

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Italian government declared a state of emergency, Monday (4/7/2022). This applies to the area around the Po River, in Gualtieri, the region between Florence and Milan.

This happens because the water discharge continues to shrink due to drought. This government decision will allow the authorities to cut red tape and take immediate action if deemed necessary.

One of them, the government can impose water rationing for households and businesses. Emergency measures will cover land bordering Po as well as water basins in the eastern Alps.
