Ethics fined former director of PRFAA in Orlando for $ 1,000

Washington, D.C. – The Office of Government Ethics (OEG) imposed a fine of $ 1,000 on the former director of the Florida office of the Administration of Federal Affairs of Puerto Rico (Prfaa) Betsy Franceschini, for failing to submit financial reports.

Franceschini occupied the direction of the Prfaa office in Florida during the government of Alejandro García Padilla.

In a resolution, the OEG indicated that on June 29 an agreement was reached with Franceschini on the payment of the fine.

The examining officer of the case approved the agreement on June 8, said OEG deputy executive director Aniano Rivera Torres, who signed the resolution of the case two days later.
