The special edition of Estampa is at the doors. It will take place from April 8 to 11, 2021 at IFEMA and already has 80 confirmed galleries. However, one of the large-format pieces will be installed in a privileged place. It’s about the work Aviator Sibyl, designed for Estampa and authored by Victoria Civera, an artist invited to this contemporary art festival.

Victoria Civera (Puerto de Sagunto, 1955) takes over from Daniel Canogar, guest creator in the previous edition. The artist began her activity at the San Carlos School of Fine Arts in Valencia, where she experimented with photography, photomontage and Happening. Later, she took painting as the center of her artistic production, until her arrival in New York in 1987, with her husband Juan Uslé, with whom she worked in other disciplines, and where her approaches underwent important creative changes.
In the nineties, Civera focused on the construction of objects and installations, becoming one of the first Spanish artists to voluntarily move away from the notion of style. In the same way, figuration and abstraction are freely and expressively intermingled in his work.
Estampa, the contemporary art fair specializing in Spanish galleries and collecting, maintains its 28th edition with a general program and curated sections where current events on the art market in this country will be shown.
